Peggy, sadly, is in a very common position.

Each state has an organization responsible for the anonymous helping of lawyers and judges that have found themselves with a substance abuse problem.

I'm a law student in Maine and our resources is called the Maine Association for Lawyers & Judges.

Peggy should find out who the organization is in her state and make a report to that organization about her lawyer. Otherwise, the lawyer stands a good chance of making an error that will get them disbarred.
