Frequency is the number of waves that passes through a point at a unit of time.

Period and frequency are inversely related

        Period  = [tex]\frac{1}{Frequency }[/tex]

If frequency  = 1Hz, period  = 1sec

       If frequency  = 5Hz period  = 0.2s

       If frequency   = 33Hz, period  = 0.03s
