The equation of line is,

[tex]y=kx+c[/tex]

Where k is slope of line and c is y intercept.

If y intercept is 0 or line passes through the origin then equation of line is,

[tex]y=kx[/tex]

So k is slope of lne in equation y = kx.

Answer: k refer to slope of line.
